Growzed

Sweater: 36point5 (similar) // Skirt: Growze // Shoes: YSL // Necklace: Jane Basch Designs // Ring: YSL // Polishes: OPI "Lincoln Park After Dark" and Essie "Bouncer, It’s Me!"

Remember when I said I can’t stop wearing crop tops and skirts? It wasn’t that long ago. Well it has been fuh-reezing in LA lately and I was forced to winterize my look. The first thing I pulled out of my closet for the cold day was this reversible skirt by Growze which is maroon, my favorite color right now, on the other side. "Why not show off the hue since you’re wearing a simple black sweater?" you might ask. Because friends, the need to wear my fuchsia YSLs was intense. Sidenote: these were my first pair of designer shoes and will one day be framed on the bedroom wall next to the Christian Dior sunglasses I spent months saving for in college. You never forget your first tryst with designers.

Distracted. I bought this sweater at Wasteland for $30ish and it has been my go-to this winter. Because it’s black, it goes with every high-waisted skirt/shorts/anything I own and is just long enough that it doesn’t show too much skin-so it’s perfect for work, date night or out to dinner with the girls (and has seen all three). The best part is that it’s simple enough to be styled edgy with leathers on top, classy with a tweed blazer or uber casual with an army jacket and denim. Of course, you must accessorize accordingly.
