Vacation shopping has begun! I can’t remember the last time I went on a real life, lay on the beach while people bring you frozen drinks as you listen to your Beats by Dre pill and worry about a sunburn vacay (truth: I don’t think Beats by Dre was a thing then). So, the less than a month countdown to Cabo is on. I bought this skirt in Venice, pre-flight booking, because I am always on the hunt for something I can wear to work with my favorite crop tops. What is not making a weekday appearance? This itty-bitty made-for-a-getaway Topshop bra let (I’m not pushing the wardrobe envelope that much around my superiors). While I live by the rule that there aren’t any rules in fashion, there is something about mixing white with bright colors that screams “Bienvenue!” to summer. Though the skirt has a lot going on with the green and blue print, I went in with magenta heels and hologram sunnies from UNIF-the more colors of the rainbow the more tropical the look feels. Spritz a little Bumble & Bumble to add some extra beachy to my wave and I can already taste the spicy margaritas.
