Just Me and My Band Tee

Might as well call this my Saturday night uniform. I’ve mentioned before that I have an unhealthy obsession with Christian Benner and I’ve developed quite the collection of his perfectly distressed band tees over the past few months…and I wear them daily. For a workday, I like to go more casual with cut-offs or jeans and my tried-and-true AllSaints booties, sometimes adding a dark button-up or flannel for layering. How-ever...for a night out in Venice I put away the flats and dress up the look with my sky-high stilettos, a fitted skirt and leather jacket. Style tip: due to the amazingly excessive amount of holes (and that the majority of my collection consists of deep tanks) I always wear one of my favorite Cosabella numbers under it. These shirts are so fun because, despite the lived-in look, you can wear them anywhere if it’s really your style. But if you get uncomfortable when old people ask you where the rest of your shirt went…you might want to ease into the look. I never did like a fresh-off-the-rack tee. Snooze.
