Christmas is less than a week away and I haven’t even begun to check names off of my shopping list, making me a terrible sister, daughter, friend and all-around person. However an even more awful feeling is waking up on Friday morning only to realize you RSVP’ed to a Christmas party that evening which requires your presence with gift in tow. Oh, and of course there’s an entire day of work ahead, leaving you with exactly .5 seconds to pick something out during rush hour. What’s a girl to do in that moment? In dire situations, gift cards, stationary or the go-to bottle of booze are all good options but why not make it a little more personal? Quirky television series, chic reads and anything music related are all fun, thoughtful and practical with potential conversation appeal…maybe you’ll even conjure up an inside joke out of it.
