Unless you’ve been living under a rock without WiFi for the past three months, you know that over-the-knee boots are inescapable this season. Literally, they are everywhere. What once used to be the epitome of a stereotype (Pretty Woman anyone?) is now Safe For Workplace, Safe for Sunday Brunch and Safe for the Frozen Food Section at Albertsons. While I will always love the sophisticated ratchet look with cut offs and a shirt tied around my waist, the watered down but classy way to style your new closet staple is with a flirty dress or romper. For Love & Lemons has an entire collection of both long and short dresses that were made to start a trend with the season’s hottest footwear and makes it easier for someone with a little more relaxed style to wear with comfort. While I’m obsessed with this baby doll dress, I also love to pair the boots with a floor length number and a high slit. And while I’ll always be an oversized flannel girl at heart, a fitted leather jacket for a night out will take the look from sweet to sassy.
