Beach Day

Outfit by Adidas // Sungasses by Ray-BanTop // Sports Bra // Shorts (similar) // Shoes

Aside from boxing classes, my workouts usually take place on a megaformer or ballet barre where flexibility is key and therefore, short shorts are not an appropriate option. Occasionally though (and I mean occasionally) I’ll wake up with a lot of adrenaline or come home after a stressful workday and feel like a run down to the beach is exactly what I need. *Sidenote* This fleeting feeling of self motivation usually lasts until I get down to the water and realize I don’t have a trainer telling me what to do next - and this is when I discover the best songs on Spotify. That extra info aside, I still like to throw on lighter-weight clothing for this journey because my body immediately reacts to the extra cardio.

I love this matching set by Adidas and a black tank is the perfect add-on to any look. Although I used to be shy about taking my shirt off mid-workout (I don’t know why, men do it all the time) it only seems natural when I’m wearing a sports bra that could double as a top to shed some layers. A tennis short/sports bra combo is a great look for a cardio-infused day in the sun when you feel like high-knees, jump-roping and a leisurely jog will provide the right sweat for you - save the ratty version for a indoor treadmill day. For those bright days I wear my aviators because through all the sweat and jumping, they’ll stay put (and my favorite pair just happened to match).
