Over the last couple of months I have become increasingly obsessed with streetwear which has inevitably led me to shopping in the men’s department more than usual. Anything from sneakers to certain sweats and snapbacks have taken over the morning struggle while my pretty little skirts and heels watch it all go down. Imagine my excitement when I’m able to find just what I need in the women’s section and am not forced to request a stockroom check for the right boys' size. I love a good jersey (even more when it’s oversized but how functional is that in real life?) and for some reason when I found this “Locals Only” at Topshop the search for the perfect gym shorts was on…these just happened to be laced in leather.

For the weekend I like to wear this top with cut-offs and bright sneakers (shocker) but at the “office” I dress it up a little with my tried-and-true black blazer and staple heels, something everyone has in their closet that can instantly class up any look. I also like to funk it up in a fun, comfy kick with a chunky heel for longer days and keep the accessories minimal…there’s enough going on.
