A few of my favorite things: black skinnies, outrageous beanies and a watch that reminds me that I actually still know how to tell time. There was once a point in my life when I wore jeans on the reg but lately, when I’m wearing denim, it is either in the form of a black skinny jean and/or a tried-and-true vest that I can layer...I will seriously throw one on over anything. I love a black skinny (and these are only $30, THIRTY DOLLARS) because it is a rather flattering choice and will go with everything in your closet. Black on black on black for a chicer look, a sweatshirt for a more casual look or in my case more denim and layers that shed. Because on a normal day I don’t wear a lot of color, I try and make up for it in the accessories. Hot pink watch? Perfect. Neon “Los Angeles” beanie to hide a bad hair day if I need to? I mean, I don’t even care if it’s August #wearingitanyway.
