A Simple Plan

Dress: Boulee rent from The Stylist LA // Shoes: Topshop // Earrings: Tiffany Kunz // Bracelet: Vanessa Mooney

I love when you find a dress that’s maintenance level is so low you can put it on and slam the door behind you. It doesn’t require loads of accessorizing, doesn’t need a jacket to complete the look because it’s not a whiny, needy dress. Enter this off-the-shoulder boho joint by Boulee; a dress that, aside from a little Static Guard assistance, can handle itself. I am kind of obsessed with the way you are able to show some skin in this piece without looking like a huss (not that I’ve ever been known to turn down some mid-line viewing) and it is sweet without being too girly.

Of course, the point of this post was to keep the add-ons low and let the dress handle itself but I did add the usual suspects: silver bracelets, stacking rings and my Tiffany Kunz earrings because of habit, but they are all subtle. For a daytime look, I went with a chunky bootie but a wedge would work great if that’s your jam. For a dressier night out, switch to a strappier heel and add a lightweight jacket and baby, let your hair down.
