Another day, another all-black outfit. I’m not sure why but I really feel like myself when I am H2T black, maybe it has something to do with the weather…or the color of my heart. KIDDING MOM! I’m always hesitant to buy wintery looking jackets because it is only “winter” in LA for about 34 seconds out of the year (and the rain is boycotting the city) so I was stoked to find this Karen Millen sleeveless trench to carry me through all the days of my life. It’s my favorite jacket right now because on the warmer days I can wear it with a tank or sleeveless dress but when the temps are a little lower or I have those early call-times, I can pair it with a long sleeve black top and the blurred lines make it look like a proper jacket.

Everyone knows I love a crop top and because it’s not always easy to find one that is safe for workplace, I’ve been really getting some use out that high-waist denim trend that seems to be hanging out for a while. The jacket comes in handy as part of the outfit when there is still so much space between fabrics that you look like you’re heading to a music video shoot. When it comes to looks - on myself and on clients - I dream in balance…and it haunts me every night.

Sidenote: Those incredible, sky high pumps are teaching me to walk my fanciest. I am excited to be a part of the Carmen Steffens family as a brand ambassador this year and what is possibly my favorite shoe of all time will be coming to the blog soon in the freshest of pinks.
