I have really jumped on this over-the-knee boot bandwagon, so hard that I am practically driving it now. I truly feel like OTKs can save any casual outfit from being too messy. BUT - that is only a sidebar to this conversation because Flynn Skye needs no assistance. Ever since I came across designer Amber Farr’s Venice-friendly line, my brain has had a slight case of tunnel vision. I can’t remember when I first heard about F.S. but I took my first trip to the Lincoln Blvd boutique with a mission of finding ONE dress for my cousin’s wedding. Four pieces and an impressive credit card statement later, here we are. Her silhouettes are a dream and each one comes in so many different prints that you can avoid all florals if you so insist (but my guess is that even those who swear they won’t wear flowers will find they’d rather contradict themselves than prove a point). I am completely dying over the boho factor of this line and would consider wearing it everyday if that were an option. The style and entire vibe is right up any free-spirited chick’s alley and if you throw on an oversized hat or leather jacket, you have an entirely different look - the best way to man-up anything that’s got you feeling a bit too girly. You’re down to wear roses now aren’t you?
