Remember when I said that I had tunnel vision? Well this post is proof that I don’t exaggerate. I was stomping around Venice with my Vibe Tribe Creative girls in possibly my favorite Flynn Skye set when we happened across the most outgoing skateboarder I’ve ever met ‘round these parts. When he started doing tricks in the presence of a camera it only made sense to take some shots together (not those type of shots - it was 10am). The thing I love about a skirt and top combo like this one is that it is incredibly versatile. You can be prancing around Muscle Beach one minute and ready for a night out without even so much as a shoe change as soon when the sun retreats. To one-up that, all you need to do for a casual day of running errands is throw on a fitted jacket or switch the skirt for a pair of ripped jeans and a pair of Adidas Superstars to make it more comfortable. You also have a great vacay beach coverup or can pair it with your over-the-knee boots and a leather jacket for a show at the Troubadour. Seriously. Anywhere. The outfits available from just these two pieces are endless (and they come in so many different prints too, hooray!). Sidebar: There are a few things you cannot do while wearing a maxi skirt and heels....an ollie, a nosegrind or anything with the word “flip” in it to name a few. Don’t think I didn’t pretend to try.
